Dealing with Job Rejection
I was rejected from a job recently. I realize that it is not the end of the world but it still kind of ruined my day. So I ate some junk food and watched some TV. That may not be the best way to deal with it, so I tried to looked for some answers online. I found three websites with some good advice:

Job Fairs: Are They Worth It?
This past week I went to a career fair at my university. I have heard negative things about university job fairs in the past: that very few people get hired from job fairs and that recruiters cannot answer industrial questions you may want to ask. Both points are true to a certain extent, but I am still very glad I went. I had the opportunity to see what companies are hiring, how they are hiring and what the companies are really about without having to dig through the often vague wording you find on company websites.

Go Back to School
Going back to school can strengthen your resume, keep you professionally active and help you meet new people. There are many schools that offer night courses and certificate programs in a variety of areas. Many people also leave the work force to further their education with a post graduate degree. Returning to school is definitely a worth considering for whatever stage of professional growth you may be at.
